The Rich River Rod and Custom Club Inc. was formed as a result of a meeting held to gauge local interest in Hot Rodding in the Echuca-Moama area during 1988 and is currently in its twenty-fourth year of operation.
The aim of the club is to promote the building, safe use and enjoyment of street rods, custom cars and other cars of interest.
Membership is open to any person who shares these interests. Prospective members must attend three club meetings before applying to join the club and applications for membership must be approved by a club meeting. Club members must maintain membership of the ASRF for the duration of their club membership.
Members are expected to be active in club activities and to attend club events when family and work commitments permit. The club holds monthly club meetings (usually at member's homes), organises club outings and events and members often attend other club's Rod Runs and ASRF sanctioned events.
The Rich River Rod Run is held in March every second year (in even years) and attracts entrants from all over Australia. Club members are expected to make a major commitment to our Rod Run in order to ensure its continued success.
The affairs of the club are managed by an elected Committee comprising the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and two ordinary members. The club is an Incorporated Association in Victoria and the Constitution was up-dated and adopted during 2008.
There are currently 42 members of the club, including three Life Members, who reside in or near Echuca, Moama, Deniliquin, Mathoura, Rochester and Kyabram.
