And the winner is Bradley Smith of Belgrave, well done! A huge thankyou to everyone who bought tickets in the raffle.
Well the weather could not have been better for our 2012 Rich River Rod Run, a few scattered showers on Friday made for an interesting trip to Echuca/Moama for those in open cars, however more than 270 Entrants attended the run. The weather cleared just prior to our Welcome Dinner at Rich River Golf Club Resort enabling people to sit out on the 19th Terrace enjoying great food and company with a few rods parked near the 18th Green.
As morning broke on Saturday we knew we would be in for a great day, clear blue skies in all directions. The cruise to Kyabram and subsequent display was huge. Several rodders had a rest in the afternoon before a big evening back at Rich River for a great dinner and entertainment from Scotty Baker, Kieron McDonald and Hank and his Jalopy Demons who kept people on the dancefloor until the early hours of Sunday morning.
Sunday morning was a repeat of Saturday, clear skies in temperatures in the mid 20's, perfect for a rod show. Moama Recreation Reserve soon filled up with 270 Entrants along with more than 150 Cars and Bikes for a Show and Shine. More than 2000 spectators filled the oval checking out the cars, bands, some great trade displays and kids entertainment.
The members of Rich River Rod & Custom would like to thank everyone for attending the run and in particular our sponsors for their support, see you back in 2014!
